Bottle Drive
Hello Everyone,
Many thanks to those that participated with this years Bottle Drive. I'm sure it will be a few weeks before the final numbers are in, but I am optimistic that we raised a ton of money for a few hours worth of work.
Many thanks to Marie Barnes who coordinated this years event on behalf of the troop!

Tom Zenon!
I am very pleased and proud to announce that Tom Zenon is an Eagle Scout. Tom completed his Eagle Board of Review this evening, and is Troop 108’s newest Eagle.
Hi
Hi Everyone,
If you can read this, then I have successfully completed my first blog. Thanks to everyone that helped out with the Court of Honor!

Site Maintenance
I made some behind-the-scenes changes to the site this evening. If you encounter any unexpected issues, let me know.
Last weekly Troop Meeting - June 11
As the school year winds down, so do our weekly troop meetings. June 11th will be our last meting for this school year.
Don't forget our remaining events over the summer: June 21st bottle drive, summer camp, and the August trek and campout (see our calendar on the calendar tab above)
Have a great summer everyone! Bill Strohmeyer
June Campout!
Your scout(s) was given the Activity Form for the upcoming June Campout last night. Forms and payment are due by June 4th.
Summer Camp
Now that Seabase is over, I can start to concentrate on all the wild and wondrous forms required for our scouts to attend SUMMER CAMP! Yippee! Those of you who know me from previous summers know that my motto now is “let the hounding begin.”
In order for your scout (and you adults who intend to go) to attend Cedarlands, I must have the following forms on file:
Class 2 Medical Form – the longer one signed by a doctor. This one is good for adults under 40 as well.
Class 3 Medical Form – only for those of us over 40…..
Save the date!
Please save Wednesday, May 28th from 6-8:30pm as the time/date for our Spring Court of Honor. It will be held this year at our chartering organization, The American Legion, on route 20 in Waterville.
The Court of Honor is when we gather to honor our scouts and adult leaders for their efforts and achievement in scouting. It’s a potluck dinner, and you need to bring your own table-settings. Families of all sizes and shapes are always welcome. More info will be forthcoming.

Wanted: Pictures
I've replaced the stock photos in the banner at the top of this page with pictures of Troop 108 activities or venues, but we can always use more. If you have any high-resolution, good-quality pictures you'd like to offer, let me know. They should be croppable to a size of 970x180 pixels.
Welcome to the new Troop 108 web site!
It was time to update the Troop 108 web site, so here it is. It isn't finished -- and as long as the Troop continues, it won't be -- but it's ready for general use.
This new site looks different, but the real change is how it will allow other members of the troop leadership to contribute and maintain content. That should make it a more dynamic and interesting site to visit.
This is just the start. There are many more changes to come, so check back regularly.
